On Tuesday, the 23rdof August 2021, the students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School got the amazing opportunity to meet Mr. Pavan Badami, An Aryaan ex-student from all the way back in 2011 in the Gurukul batch of Aryaans. He has been conferred with a PhD from Arizona state University, U.S.A. He also chose to be a Research Scholar for Post Doc in Aggron National Lab of USA, Chicago. He has published eleven journal papers during his MS and PhD at Arizona State University.
Sir began by telling us about the importance of mathematics and its key topics.
He told us key topics have small but important application in almost every field and thus why we should always have regular practice and revise them.
He also told us about the importance of practical knowledge and textbook knowledge is required but not enough, as we need to learn to apply this knowledge.
Sir continued by telling us about PhD’s and how it is not meant for everyone and requires a lot of patience, hard work and dedication. Not only these qualities but also have a creative idea which must be original to research on.
Later sir told us about his experience staying and interacting with foreigners. About how efficient and disciplined they are and the focus they put in their work.
Also, how the Local industries make an investment by funding Universities which is actually and excellent idea and helping so many bright students who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford University.
The talk sir gave us truly rallied us all up and inspired us a lot. I would like to Thank Pavan sir who despite the time zone differences agreed for an interactive session with us and thank our director VPD sir for bringing such amazing personalities to interact with us and keeping us motivated.
