On Saturday, the 14th of August 2021, the students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School got the unique opportunity to meet Mr. Rajesh Pednekar, a very dynamic and versatile personality who was awarded for the best regional film at the 64th National Film Awards at Delhi by the Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee. Call him a cricketer, an actor, a Vaastu specialist, you name it, and you will find him at the top of the ladder. Sir has certainly been one of the few pioneers in taking Goa’s culture, heritage and sports to the next level. He has a unique penchant to first convert his hobby into passion and then into profession. What I found especially interesting in this session was the knowledge of Vaastu shared by him which describe principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement, and spatial geometry.
Sir began by telling us about the emphasis of switch on and switch off mode which is much needed in developing a scientific attitude and have great happiness in life. Sir also cleared many of our doubts regarding the film industry and took us through the ups and downs faced by the industry and explained the role each person plays in the making of a movie. We also got the opportunity to meet Sir’s son, Mrugank, an ex-Aryaanite now a student at Wisconsin, USA. He has also written a beautiful article on Mushtifund Aryaans High School in his blog. I’d also like to thank the Director for giving us the opportunity to interact with him.
