On Thursday, the 5th of August 2021, the students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School got the amazing opportunity to meet Mr. Rajachandran Madhan, a very dynamic and versatile personality who is the Director of Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC). He was also associated with Marine instrumentations and underwater technologies for oceanographic research at NIO Goa. He has contributed to producing several marine robots like Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV MAYA), Remotely Operated Surface Vehicle (ROS) and on Autonomous Vertical Profiler (AVP). Sir began by telling us about Germany. He told us it is the land of Ideas innovation and rugged technology. Big scientists like Albert Einstein, Max Planck, Robert Bosch, Gustav Kirchhoff, George Simon Ohm,Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit were from Germany. Germany also has mastered in the field of applied science, and we can see this in the form of companies that have originated from there like B.M.W, Volkswagen, Porsche, Bosch and so many software companies which dominate world markets.

Sir continued by telling us opportunities we students have for further studies in Germany. The universities like the Max Planck institutes and the TU9 institutes.

German institutes also provide free education and students must only pay for food there.

Later sir also told us about the advantages of studying Mechanical Engineering and how helpful and how interdisciplinary it is.

Also, about how useful learning German can be and how easy it is to learn.

It Is quite close to Hindi and young students may pick it up very quickly and how there were different levels for learning the language like A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

All students at Aryaans are hoping to be able to go to Germany and interact with the lovely people and amazing atmosphere there.

I would like to thank Mr. R. Madhan for giving us some of his precious time and thank VPD sir for bringing such amazing personalities to talk to us.
