Good evening everyone, we have come to the end of this wonderful informative session with Wing Commander Himanshu Kulshreshta on behalf of Mushtifund Aryaan saunstha Pratik singbal would like to propose my vote of thanks to all who have made this session successful . First and foremost I would like to thank the esteemed guest speaker for giving his precious time from his busy schedule to enlighten us .The information and insights he has shared with us about his career in the Indian Air Force and aviation industry has been an eye opener for us.

For students like us who aspire to be successful it has made us aware of the career possibilities and growth opportunities one can have in the institution of Indian Air Force and in aviation industry. His journey of becoming an Indian Air Force pilot with a long successful career of 22 years serving the nation is truly inspiring .He is an example of hard work courage determination perseverance and sacrifice these are all the qualities we should try to imbibe in our life to be successful in any career we wish to pursue .

His second career as an indigo flight captain and instructor conveys to us that one can have two or more career options in the same domain at different stages of life. Sir, told us that even though we are striving to achieve our goals, life can take different turns for the better and we should be flexible to plan accordingly. He described his career as a test pilot wherein he described having flown multiple models which were developed to certify their adaptability before delivering to end users. So told us that after his graduation from the NDA he joined the Air Force Academy and graduated to become a fighter pilot. He is an expert in flying MIG 21, 23 and 27 this helped him in getting associated with hindustan aeronautics facility at Nasik. Even I would like to see this with his immense experience and flying hours to his credit he would go through a safety checklist before every takeoff which conveys to us that the precaution and awareness are always necessary before any endeavor. He showed us a few photos of the mig 21 and mig 27 and the differences between them, he described an intelligent mechanism for lateral stability which would fold by 90 degrees when the landing gear was lowered to prevent damage to the fin. I can definitely imagine the engineering that has been used to devise such a mechanism . The use of computers for the purpose of navigation and maneuverability is truly impressive from his description of the effects of gravitational pull and centrifugal force during extreme maneuvering it requires a lot of courage to become a fighter pilot. The anti gravitational suit or the anti G suit has been devised for assisting the pilot in preventing pooling of blood in the lower limbs and so is the actively done hooka maneuver . Aircrafts can go up to 9 g! I really salute the rigorous training imparted by the Indian Air Force. I would like to see this golden opportunity to wholeheartedly thank Wing Commander himanshu kulshrestha for having won the kargil war. We truly respect you and salute the Indian Air Force for playing a pivotal role in winning the war.

I would also like to thank director Sir Vyankatesh Prabhudesai for providing us regular opportunities to hear and interact with eminent speakers having illustrious careers in their fields. This helps us in boosting our morale and inspires us to strive harder in achieving our goals. I thank and appreciate my fellow classmates for patiently listening and interacting with the guest speaker making this session highly educational. Thank you all and wish you a very good night.
