It is always an exciting prospect for us Aryaanites whenever we hear that a person from the medical field is here to share their experience with us, and on the pleasant morning of the 23rd of October 2021, we were privileged to be part of one more such phenomenal session where we were graced by the presence of the very respected and inspiring Dr.AvinashZantye and Dr.ShilpaZantye, owners of Zantye Hospital, Malvan.

Dr.Avinash begun by acquainting us with his humble beginning, how he transitioned from working in a government hospital to finally setting up his own hospital in 2007, to which he has remained extremely dedicated even today, having served thousands of people over the years. He impressed upon us heavily the importance of remaining transparent and honest to your patients and profession.

Next, Dr. Shilpa begun by telling us about her journey in the medical field, which, to our surprise, had started in Goa itself. Ma’am’s intense passion for the subject – medicine was evident throughout the talk, and by the end of it we were truly spellbound. Needless to say, the life of a working mother is full of challenges already, and that of a gynaecologist is something we can only imagine and be in awe of. Throughout her life Ma’am has strived to maintain a balance between her personal and professional life, and our respect for her increased manifold as she narrated to us various incidents and decisions made by her that have been defining moments in her journey.

Both Dr.Avinash and Dr.Shilpa imprinted on the significance of turning situations to your favour and making most of them. In spite of having had to face many inevitable hurdles along the way, both of them made most of the opportunities available.

This has session inspired us and boosted our will in so many ways, and we remain indebted to Dr.Avinash and Dr. Shilpa for having spared time from their unimaginably busy schedule and sharing their valuable experience with us. Lastly, I would like to extend my warm gratitude to our director – Sir VPD, for constantly exposing us to such superiorly skilled and hardworking people whom we all look up to.
